Biography:
Akshay Kumar was born with the name Rajiv Bhatia Om Day, in Amritsar, Punjab, India, September 9, 1967. He is the Indian actor who starred in the movie started Saugandh (1991).
The role of 'bad' newly gained when starring in the thriller Khiladi (1992), followed by the Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994), Mohra (1994) and the Yeh Dillagi (1994). Through the films Akshay is known more widely, especially by Yeh Dillagi (1994), he successfully nominated for Filmfare Best Actor.
In 1997, he later starred in the film directed by Yash Chopra's Dil To Pagal films Hai. Through this film also Akshay, won the nomination Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award. Having recently won Filmfare Awards through the film Ajnabee (2002) and Garam Masala past (2006).
While relating her personal life, Akshay has been married to actress India, Twinkle Khanna. From her marriage on 14 January 2001, they were blessed with boys, Araav born 15 September 2002.
