Anastacia, born with the name Anastacia Lyn Newkirk, 17 September 1968 in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Anastacia was born from showbiz family, his father, Robert Newkirk was a club singer, while her mother, Diane Hurley is an actress in Broadway musical theater.
Anastacia is an American singer and songwriter known in Europe, Asia, Oceania, South Africa, and the United States. He has sold 25 million albums worldwide. Anastacia is famous for his voice was strong, so nicknamed "the little lady with the big voice."
Anastacia titled debut album NOT THAT Kind diirlis year 2000. The album has spelled out very successfully, into the top ten in 8 countries in Europe, Asia, and Oceania. Debut single, I'm Outta Love, became the most popular singles in 2000 in Australia, as well as sitting on the stairs 6 UK charts and top 10 in many countries. Another single in this album is Not That kind, Cowboys & Kisses, and Made for Lovin 'You also achieve success as previous singles.
No different from her first album, Anastacia's second album, FREAK OF NATURE (2001) mencapi huge success. Single is in it, among others, Paid My Dues, One Day in Your Life, Why'd You Lie to Me, and You'll Never Be Alone.
Anastacia released his third album, Anastacia, the year 2004. Like the two previous albums, even this successful album in the market. Famous singles include: Left Outside Alone, Sick and Tired, Welcome to My Truth, and Heavy on My Heart.

Anastacia into worldwide headlines when diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003. This is not the first serious illness he suffered. At the age of 13 years, Anastacia suffered chronic stomach pain, called Crohn's disease.
Anastacia also famous for its concern for social and humanitarian issues. He formed Anastacia Fund, which promotes awareness of early cancer.
Anastacia also a supporter of many humanitarian programs, such as the Life Ball 2006 (the annual Humanitarian Programme for AIDS in Europe) and the Challenge for the Children, and the 46664th spearheaded by Nelson Mandela for AIDS awareness.
