Biography :
Ayumi Hamasaki is a Japanese female singer, born in Fukuoka, Japan, October 2, 1978. Ayu, as she is known, got a nickname as 'the queen of Japanese pop' with the top hit-Destiny Love (1999).



His debut album in 1998 with the single Poker Face Carrying have sold over 50 million copies of albums and singles for sale in Japan, not counting the many other countries. He has released 8 studio albums, 40 singles, one mini-album, and 4 compilation albums under the label Avex Trax.

Single his 40th, titled "Blue Bird, has also exceeded the record-breaking sales figures targer which reached 20 million copies.

In his career, Ayumi won numerous awards. Among Japan Record Taishou Grand Prix Award and Grammmy Japan 3 times in a row. In 2004, he also refuses to accept the award via single Inspire, due to conflicts within Avex.

In 2007, Ayu released a compilation album A Best 2 in two versions of Black and White. sales of both albums in its first week to break the 945,000 copies.
