Biography:
Avenged Sevenfold is a hard rock / heavy metal band formed in Huntington Beach, California in 1999. Personnel consisting of M. Shadows (vocals), Synyster Gates (lead guitar), Zacky Vengeance (guitar), Johnny Christ (bass), and The Reverend (drums). And two former personnel Sane Dameon Ash and Justin who have leave from this group.
Avenged Sevenfold's first album titled Sounding the Seventh Trumpet (2002), followed by a second album Waking the Fallen (2003). In the second album by this group appeared together Xl Rose, Kylie Minogue and Chris Cornell. Followed the album CITY OF EVIL (2005) and Avenged Sevenfold (2007).
The group never mangung in Jakarta on August 7, 2007, the latter choose the path of pop music. This, supposedly after a lot of criticism due to his 'adopted' sound effects that have been hit before. They said heavy metal is not suitable for him, and prefer pop music.
December 28, 2009, Avenged Sevenfold mourning. The drummer, or the real name of The Reverend James Owen Sullivan died. He was found lifeless in her home, the Huntington Beach area.
